Planning an adaptive clinical trial

It can take some time to develop the expertise required for setting up and implementing an adaptive trial. The design phase is often longer than a traditional trial and may include multiple iterations. Trial simulations are critical for a successful adaptive design and assist to inform optimal trial characteristics and adaptive features. We are often asked by clinicians and researchers for advice on setting up an adaptive trial. In the information sheet below, we’ve shared some of our tips and knowledge we’ve learned along the way to assist researchers and clinicians who are interested in implementing trials with adaptive designs.
