Toolkit for consumer involvement in research

January 13, 2020 | 0 comments

Our colleagues at the Australian Clinical Trials Alliance in collaboration with CT:IQ and a working group of consumers & researchers have produced a toolkit to help guide consumer involvement in research.

The toolkit contains an interactive road map with a range of handy resources for each topic. It’s designed to give researchers and organisations practical guidance for involving consumers in their research. Involving consumers in all aspects of design is critical to ensure that clinical trials are successfully implemented and that they are designed with the consumer’s needs in mind. Adaptive Health Intelligence has several community reference groups for a number of our clinical trials. Additionally, we have a dedicated consumer advisor, Mitch Messer, who is employed 1 day per week on the BEAT CF study.
