A trip to Texas

August 15, 2019

Adaptive Health Intelligence Biostatistician Mark Jones recently travelled to Austin, Texas to visit our research partners at Berry Consultants.

Berry Consultants are the world’s leading statistical consultancy company in providing support and design advice to researchers interested in planning adaptive and novel designs.

During the trip, Mark worked closely with Berry Statisticians Ben Saville and Todd Graves to develop the response adaptive randomization (RAR) code for BEAT CF. The BEAT CF study is due start enrolling in the later part of 2019. This first phase will involve enrolling people to the study platform (database). Mark and our Berry partners will be working on the RAR code over the next few months with the aim to begin enrolling for the intervention study in 12 months’ time.
